Careers / Visual Communication Designer

Véjà Du is looking for a Visual Communication Designer who could take up full responsibility of successfully completing & enhancing our clients' online presence with eye-catching and professional graphic designs.

As a visual designer, you will consult with the project team to determine design requirements, submit draft concepts for approval, conclude design prototypes, iterate to arrive on final outputs in alignment with existing design guidelines provided to you by the client.


Key Responsibilities
- Determining visual design preferences and expectations.
- Designing original graphics with unique colors, shapes, and typography fonts that align with the existing brand guidelines unless suggested otherwise.
- Drafting & Refining the output by using visual design software.
- Enhancing digital images, including the application of contrasts and gradients.
- Submitting visual design concepts for brainstorming and approval.
- Meeting with the project team for feedback and editing designs, when required.
- Collaborating with developers in aligning visual designs with functionalities.
- Developing prototypes to uniformly integrate logos and brand images to other products and platforms, including social media
- Developing & designing templates with existing brand guidelines.
- Keeping track of advancements in visual design technologies and applications, as well as industry trends.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in graphic design, visual arts, or similar.
- 2-3 years of experience as a visual designer, or similar.
- A complete portfolio of visual design examples.
- Advanced proficiency in visual design softwares including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc..
- Prior experience of working on digital products would be great.
- Exceptional creative abilities as reflected in original visual designs.
- Extensive experience in determining visual design preferences.
- Experience working on strict & revised deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate on visual design projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional ability to integrate feedback to create iterative improvements.
- Proficiency in keeping up with visual design technologies and industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills.


Employment Type
Full Time**
**3  Month full time probation till March 2023 followed by performance evaluation. On successful performance, the probation contract would be extended to 1 year i.e. till December 2023.

Pay Scale
INR 600,000 - 1,000,000 per annum
USD 7,500 - 12,000 per annum
CAD 9,800 - 16,000 per annum
EURO 6,800 - 11,400 per annum
GBP 6,000 - 10,000 per annum


Work Location
Preferably Offline / In-Person in Bangalore for the first 90 working days. 
Open to discussion on fully remote on a case to case basis.
